>> Freshwater cultured pearl --mussel in freshwater is normally smaller than those in saltwater. the nucleus is very small, and the pearls can be of different shapes after 5 years or more . Those all round pearls is the most valuable ones .

>> Saltwater cultured pearl : mussel in saltwater is normally bigger ones , the nucleus can be made round（or other specific shapes）, thus the pearls cultured are mostly round in a year or two

>> Cultured pearls are natural pearls, most of which has flaw on the surface. Those pearls with no flaw on the surface are most valuable ones.

>> Artificial pearl: put round nucleus in chemistry fluids mixed according to the composition of pearl .The surface of pearls is even more smooth than the natural ones .
